The traditional community of Xamoudochori is located 3km southwest of the historic village of Maleme and just 5 km away from the seaside region of Platanias which is an especially tourist destination during summer because of its lively night life.
Platanias is famous for its many restaurants, bars and clubs. Its sandy beach, which offers many sea sports, attracts many visitors as well.
Although Athina Luxury Villas have been built on the highest point of Xamoudochori so that their guests can enjoy their privacy and quietness, they are just a stone’s throw away from the city center of Chania. Xamoudochori is easily accessed through the local road network and the National Road. When arriving from Chania and following the seashore local road (Kissamou Str), we go through Stalos, Agia Marina, Platanias and Gerani and when entering Maleme we turn left to Xamoudochori ( 3 km). Athina Luxury Villas are situated after the last turn after Xamoudochori village and there are road signs that will direct you accordingly. VIEW THE MAP
Of you choose to arrive to the villas through the National Road, turn right to the exit of Platanias and as soon as you reach the local main road, turn left towards Maleme and continue your course according to the above directions.
If you come by the Souda Port or the Chania Airport, and if you inform us in time, we can make car rental arrangements for you if you wish to be entirely independent or we will be happy to order a taxi for you.
Athina Luxury Villas are at a distance of 26 km from Souda Port, 32 km from the Airport and 19 km from the charming city of Chania.
